Utility bill door hanger
Today during our walk around the plant we noticed this door hanger during the die cutting process. This application is used for utility customers with high unpaid charges. Information is added to the tag which is then hung on the front door of the household. Utility companies often must use hang tag or label applications which are hand delivered to conform to customer notification policies. Electronic versions may not be effective as the household may or may not have internet access.
Door hangers as these could also carry envelopes for remittance payment which would be pre-addressed for proper delivery to the utility accounting department.
