Another Kaizen Event

The Flesh Co team has just completed the 5^th Kaizen event of 2016 performed on one of our four-color offset presses.   The company’s Kaizen events are geared to bring a specific piece of equipment back to new condition.  The team’s primary goals were to identify and repair any deterioration, clean the press, replace all form rollers and document the renovation with before/after pictures.  Following the event, the team is required to report what they learned which gives to group the opportunity to share ideas and have a little fun.   “Our Kaizen teams are critical to our success and give our associates the opportunity to participate regardless of their normal duties.  For one week, their only responsibility is to the Kaizen project.”, says Philip Sparks, Production Coordinator.
