Flesh Co Adds New Inkjet Capabilities
2014-10-08
Flesh Co has purchased a new Domino K600i inkjet unit, recently displayed at the 2014 Label Expo show, for their label division. The new unit is capable of printing on coated and un-coated materials at 600 dpi. The state of the art system can produce variable imaging for barcodes and numbering which can include micro printing at 1200 dpi. “The Domino is a great addition to our current variable imaging offering.” says Mark Gerling, EVP Sales and Marketing for Flesh Co. “We produce a wide range of barcoded labels, many of which are affixed to business documents produced in our forms plant. The new K600i will give us higher quality and efficiency which will allow us to enter more label markets.”
The new unit is expected to be delivered, installed and in operation by year end. Additional equipment will also be purchased to support roll label orders. This is a growing part of the company’s label offering servicing the trucking, warehouse, distribution and E-tailer markets.
